Overnight Baker

We are looking for a Baker to prepare different types of bagels and a range of pastries. Baker responsibilities include opening the bakery late at night, mixing dough, and preparing pastries. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience as a Baker, but it is not required. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious bagels and pastries to our customers on a daily basis. Responsibilities Open the bakery Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough Mix doughs Shape doughs Bake different bagels and pastries Track food supplies and place orders, as needed Clean bakery equipment and tools Skills Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role is helpful Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, ovens, formers. Understanding of food safety practices Experience with cake decoration techniques is a plus Excellent time-management skills Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude Flexibility to work in early morning shifts Certification from a culinary school is a plus
