We're an independent neighborhood pizzeria known for our New York-style slices and signature square pies. We're looking for someone dependable, organized, and eager to learn the craft of dough making from start to finish. We are willing to train the right canadate if no prior experience. Position Responsibilities Mix and prepare pizza dough Scale, portion, and ball dough Assist with baking and production Prep ingredients for service Work the pizza line during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas Follow recipes and production schedules Assist with receiving and inventory when needed What We're Looking For Bakery, pizza, or kitchen experience is a plus Ability to lift 50-pound flour bags Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Team-oriented mindset Food Handler's Certificate is a plusSchedule 36-40 hours per week Primarily daytime production shifts Some weekend availability requiredCompensation Starting at $18 per hour Performance review after 90 days Opportunity for growth and advancement within the company About Philomena's Located in the heart of Sunnyside, Queens, Philomena's is an independent pizzeria focused on quality, consistency, and hospitality.
