For the Bakery Associate, this means delivering excellent customer service while maintaining the quality, freshness, and presentation of all baked goods, and supporting the daily operations of the bakery with care, attention to detail, and cleanliness.

Your Day-to-DayProvide friendly, helpful service while asking questions or taking orders to all customers in person and over the phoneGreet and thank customers to create a welcoming shopping experienceAssist with packaging and displaying fresh baked goods, ensuring quality and presentationStay informed about bakery products, pricing, and current promotionsRotate and stock products to maintain freshness and keep displays full and organizedHelp with basic baking tasks like setting up cookies, muffins, or making donutsMaintain cleanliness of all bakery areas, including dishes, equipment, and display casesSupport bakers and decorators as needed, including receiving deliveries and preparing items for saleIf assigned; write on cakes, finish cakes and donuts for display.

Assist Bakers/Decorators/Porter as needed throughout your shiftWhat you bring to the FarmKnowledge or willingness to learn all bakery goods being sold to better assist customers.

Access to garbage and cardboard compactor/crusher.

Move and work quickly and productively with other coworkers.

The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, training, certifications and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $16.50 - $21.45. At Adams, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
