Shift This position is from 3 AM to 11 AM Tuesday-Saturdays. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and confections with precision and care Decorate cakes and desserts using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning products Handle food production tasks including mixing, baking, assembling, and finishing items Package finished products securely and attractively for retail or catering purposes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety standards Assist with food handling procedures to ensure freshness and quality control throughout the production process Support catering events by preparing specialty items and ensuring timely delivery of orders Requirements Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a food industry setting 2-3 Years of baking experience required. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Experience with packaging techniques suitable for retail or catering environments Excellent knife skills and familiarity with culinary tools used in baking and food production Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail Customer service mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members Ability to lift up to 50 pound, while bending, twisting, squating, etc. Ability to stand on feet for 8 hour shift. Ideal candidates will have prior restaurant or catering experience along with a passion for culinary arts. A background in food industry standards, culinary experience, and hands-on bakery skills will set you up for success.
