Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. If you have a passion for baking and creating delicious treats, we want to hear from you!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow daily production assignment given by the Production Leadership Team
- Set ovens for proper time and temperature
- Maintain production log sheet, check internal temperature of baked product
- Place racks in ovens
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times (provided)
- Transfer of product between rooms while maintaining safe distance from other employees
- Additional responsibilities as required by the Production Leadership Team
- Maintain reliable and reasonable attendance Please note: You will work with allergens including Wheat, Soy, Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, and Tree nuts in this role.
QUALIFICATIONS
:- Read, write, understand English
- Previous commercial bakery experience required
- Experience wearing and working with required PPE (provided) Requirements
- Experience in baking and food preparation
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in a Bakery or catering setting is a plus
- 2nd
Shift:
Monday to Friday 2:30pm (8-hour shift)PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK EFFORT
- Able to push and pull heavy trays (up to 50 lbs pounds) consistently throughout shift
- Able to stand for the entire shift (8 hours)
- Able to work in warm/humid conditions
- Strong attention to detail to be able to confirm quality of product
- Able to maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
- Ability to understand and follow company policies along with the procedures of safety rules and regulations #
