This role is responsible for producing high-quality decorated cakes and desserts in a fast-paced bakery environment while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate has strong technical decorating skills, can execute custom designs, and works well within established systems and production standards. Little J's offers generous pay, plus tips. Responsibilities Decorate cakes using buttercream Execute custom cake orders based on guest specifications Maintain consistency in design, quality, and portion standards Pipe borders, lettering, and decorative elements cleanly and accurately Assist with icing, finishing, and assembling bakery items Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace Follow production schedules and meet daily volume requirements Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team Skills Strong piping and icing techniques (borders, lettering, designs) Ability to replicate designs consistently Attention to detail and visual presentation Time management and ability to work efficiently under pressure Basic understanding of color mixing and design balance Ability to follow recipes, systems, and production standards Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience 2+ years of cake decorating experience required Experience in a bakery or high-volume production environment preferred Experience with custom cakes and special event orders preferred Send Pictures of work with resume
