Job Overview We're on the lookout for a motivated Morning Baker to join our team and help us start each day with fresh, delicious baked goods. This role is perfect for someone who loves baking, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working in a lively kitchen environment. As a Morning Baker, you'll be responsible for preparing a variety of baked items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare and bake a range of breakfast pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods using established recipes. Support food production by handling ingredients safely and efficiently during early morning shifts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs. Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. Qualifications Previous experience in baking. Knowledge of food preparation, baking techniques, and kitchen safety practices. Experience with food handling, packaging, and presentation in a bakery or food industry setting. Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary tools used in baking. Ability to work early mornings consistently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with an artistic eye for decorating baked goods. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
