Job Description

Circa 1886 in Charleston, South Carolina is currently hiring for a full-time, 5 day a week, Artisanal Baker. We make all our breads in house from croissants and danish to breads/rolls for service. We also make some of those items for our other inns and they are delivered by the baker each morning. This position also provides tea items to one of our inns as well. You must have knowledge of working with starters, proof boxes & dough sheeters as well as some small pastry work. We seek passionate people who want to produce the best quality product on a consistent basis and love breadwork. This individual must also be creative and a team player. A valid Drivers License is required for deliveries. Our restaurant is celebrating its 26st year of operation and our chef has been with us for 25 of those years. We pride ourselves in being a family owned business that will be around for many years to come. We offer 2 weeks paid vacation, Medical and Dental insurance, free parking and discounts at hotels and in the restaurant. The applicant must also pass a background check.
