Full Time Baker / Pastry Cook $16/hour + tips

Location:

Olala French Café - Nashville, TN We are looking for a skilled and organized Baker to join our French café in Nashville. This role is key to ensuring high-quality pastries, smooth kitchen operations, and a consistently excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake croissants, pastries, crepe and other café items according to recipes and quality standards Assist with midday preparations and service setup to ensure a smooth lunch service Manage inventory: track stock levels, ensure ingredients and products are available daily, and assist with placing orders, receiving them and storage areas in an organized manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen Monitor product quality consistently and ensure every item meets our standards before serving Work closely with front-of-house staff to coordinate service and ensure timely availability of items Follow all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen regulations Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of work station and kitchen production Must be able to prioritize and finish all tasks assigned for the daily baking Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste

Requirements:

Previous experience in baking, pastry, or professional kitchen environments preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to manage inventory and anticipate needs for daily service Reliable, proactive, and able to work early morning and midday shifts Passion for French baking and café culture is a plus
