In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads and pastries. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we'd like to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas Bake a variety of breads, cakes, and pastries Decorate cakes Prepare custom orders Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment Knowledge of food safety practices Previous experience decorating cakes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Team player Available for early morning shifts
