Bakery Support Specialist

Role Overview:

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to support our production kitchen. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in cleanliness and organization, and can keep pace with a busy bakery environment. This role directly supports the bakers and ensures the kitchen runs efficiently and smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service as needed Wash dishes, utensils, sheet pans, bowls, and small equipment Maintain a clean, sanitized, organized kitchen and workstations Assist with assembling boxes, labels, packaging, and product prep Support the baking team with restocking, ingredient pulls, and light prep Sweep, mop, take out trash/compost/recycling as needed Maintain cleanliness of equipment (mixers, sinks, counters, racks) Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Support team during rush periods or high-volume holiday production

Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods Comfortable lifting 30-50 lbs occasionally Dependable, consistent, and team-oriented Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Previous kitchen or bakery experience a bonus, not required
