Responsibilities Operate pressing machines and equipment safely and efficiently to press garments, linens, or other fabric items. Inspect items for wrinkles, stains, or damages before pressing, ensuring quality control. Follow specific garment care instructions, including temperature settings and pressing techniques. Handle dry cleaning processes when necessary, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics. Assist with laundry tasks such as sorting, folding, and organizing cleaned items for delivery or pickup. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area to promote a safe working environment. Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about garment care and processing requests promptly. Requirements Previous experience is preferred. Knowledge of dry cleaning, laundry procedures, and garment care techniques. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude. Ability to operate pressing machines and related equipment safely. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions or balancing registers when needed. Experience with cashiering or cash handling is a plus. Attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision in garment finishing.
