Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY - SMOOTHIE STATION
At Aubergine Kitchen, the Smoothie Station team member plays a key role in the customer experience. This person prepares smoothies, açaí bowls, ice creams, desserts, and beverages with attention to detail, always using the correct measurements and ensuring the appearance of each product is appealing. In addition to delivering items quickly and flawlessly, this team member is responsible for keeping the station stocked, clean, and organized, contributing to service quality and operational efficiency. Their work directly impacts customer satisfaction and the smooth running of the store.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
PREPARATION, ORGANIZATION & STOCK:
Prepare the necessary amount of each item required for the station's shift, ensuring supply for the entire day. Restock all items in the smoothie and dessert line, frozen fruits, fresh bananas, almond butter, honey, and other ingredients. Check and ensure all products are available in sufficient quantities for the shift. Inform the manager immediately if an item is running low and cannot be restocked.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Apply sanitizer daily in the workstation. Keep your work area clean, organized, and stocked at all times. Clean the lemonade area and freezer. Wash the lemonade containers. Clean the ice cream machine once a week and keep it clean daily. Take out the trash at the end of the shift.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
At the start of your shift, be ready to prepare and deliver orders such as smoothies, açaí bowls, ice cream, and other desserts. Strictly follow the correct measurements and recipes for each product. Take care with the visual presentation of items, ensuring each product is served beautifully and consistently. Deliver the product quickly, attentively, and flawlessly to the customer. Carefully follow any dietary restrictions indicated on orders (e.g.: no honey, no banana, no almonds, etc.).
TEAMWORK WITH CUSTOMER FOCUS
At Aubergine Kitchen, we are all responsible for providing an excellent customer experience. Beyond your daily tasks, in this position, you may also be asked to assist in other areas or tasks during busy periods or downtime, such as: Clearing bowls and utensils from tables after use. Helping clean and organize the dining area (tables, chairs, floor). Restocking disposable utensils, napkins, and bags at the self-service station. Supporting the team or other areas whenever necessary, always focusing on customer satisfaction.
REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
English speaking - Being able to communicate effectively in English is a plus. Excellent customer service skills and friendliness when interacting with guests. Attention to detail to ensure the correct presentation and standard of each product. Ability to work under pressure. Speed and stamina to work in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a professional demeanor and positive energy while serving customers. Organization and efficiency to handle multiple orders during peak hours. Good communication and teamwork to ensure smooth service. Willingness to follow recipes precisely and keep the station clean and well stocked at all times.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 16 years old. Prior experience in a restaurant or with desserts, beverages, or customer service is preferred. Must successfully complete the company training program. Must present a Food Handler Certificate within 14 days of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Available to work 20 to 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to work long periods standing and moving. Able to lift, push, and carry objects up to 50 pounds (approx. 22 kg).
