This dynamic position combines leadership, culinary expertise, and operational management to oversee bakery/pastry production, presentation and distrobution to our 8 locations. As a key driver of quality and efficiency, you will lead a team dedicated to creating exceptional culinary experiences while ensuring safety standards and seamless operations. Responsibilities Lead and manage the Bakery production team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including baking, pastry decoration, culinary presentation. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards across all kitchen activities. Coordinate packaging processes to maintain product freshness and presentation quality for retail or catering purposes. Develop and implement innovative recipes and menu ideas that highlight culinary creativity and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to optimize efficiency and minimize waste. Qualifications Proven experience in food industry roles such as kitchen staff, pastry chef, or catering supervisor with a strong background in food preparation. Extensive knowledge of cake decorating, baking techniques, knife skills, and pastry arts. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in restaurant or food production settings. Familiarity with food safety standards and certifications required by health authorities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks including packaging, inventory management, and quality control. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and customers alike. Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
