Job Description
Custom Cake Cakery is seeking a talented, dependable Baker to join our growing team. We are a custom cake bakery specializing in luxury cakes, cupcakes, desserts, and specialty baked goods. The ideal candidate is passionate about baking, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality products. Responsibilities Prepare, mix, and bake cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and other bakery items according to recipes and production schedules. Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met. Measure and prepare ingredients accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation. Support cake decorators and other team members as needed. Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and customer order schedules. Properly operate bakery equipment and report maintenance concerns. Qualifications Previous baking experience preferred (commercial bakery experience a plus). Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices. Ability to follow recipes and production procedures accurately. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. Weekend availability preferred.
