In addition to our market, we operate a full-service caf, bakery, and meat department, preparing fresh Ukrainian dishes, pastries, breads, and specialty products daily. Our mission is to create a warm, authentic, and memorable experience for every guest. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Baker to join our bakery team. This role focuses on preparing high-quality baked goods for our customers and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with dough, follows recipes accurately, and takes pride in producing consistent, fresh products. What You'll Do Prepare, mix, shape, proof, and bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards Measure and prepare ingredients accurately to ensure product consistency Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality throughout production Decorate and finish bakery items as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery workstations and equipment Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times Assist with inventory rotation, ingredient storage, and restocking supplies Work closely with bakery and kitchen team members to ensure daily production goals are met

  • Saturday PayCompensation:
    $22
  • 26 per hour depending on experience
Benefits:
We offer competitive employee benefits including paid sick leave (1 hour per 40 hours worked), partial employer-covered medical insurance (75% for full-time employees), and paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment and 2 weeks after 2 years. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a baker, pastry baker, or in a commercial bakery environment Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
