Origin Bakery is a sister company of Bobae, a proud Asian American inspired bakery, that showcases our story through our products. We are an innovative bakery dedicated to introducing new and creative items. We are looking to hire the right person for our current production needs and future expansion projects. We seek passionate bakers who want to make a significant impact in their field to join our team. Job Hours Wednesday to Sundays 6AM to 2PM Prefer Job Responsibilities We are looking for someone who is interested in high volume production. Prepares laminated pastries such as croissants, flat croissants, and other desserts, including icings and frostings, according to established recipes. Inspects product for quality during and after baking and adjusts processes as required. Bakes, mixes, and decorates components for seasonal menu items. Recording inventory of products and components. Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment. Completes production and cleanings lists as required. Follows all allergen cleaning steps and regulations. Follows food safety regulations at all times. Job Requirements Good attitude and receptive to feedback. Desire to grow as a baker and team member. Ability to work well as part of a team. Fun to work with. Reliable transportation to work and different sister locations on the Eastside. Has an understanding of production and from scratch baking. Ability to work while standing for an 8-hour-12 hour shift. Current food handlers permit or ability to get one. Detail oriented and organized. Ability to move and work quickly in a fast-paced environment. Able to frequently lift 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Adaptable to a changing environment and able to take on new tasks as needed. Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in a bakery is preferred, and while culinary school graduates are favored, it is not a requirement. We are enthusiastic about training the right candidate! Compensation $19
  • $23.00 per hour Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance, available after 90 days of 40 Hours Full Time. 401K with match available after 90 Days. Paid time off after one year
