This role is essential in ensuring the quality and presentation of our laminated dough and food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a focus on laminated dough and pastry. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with other culinary professionals to deliver exceptional products that meet our high standards. Weekends required. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, including Croissant, Danish and other baked goods according to established recipes. Package finished products for sale, maintaining quality and presentation standards. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers regarding product offerings and taking special orders as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak production times. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all food products. Valid Driver's license and Clean driving record required. Qualifications Previous experience in food production or culinary roles is preferred; pastry experience is a must. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the kitchen environment. Proficient knife skills and experience with various cooking techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Experience in catering or restaurant settings is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay:
$18.50 - $20.00 per hour
