Job Description

Job Overview Join our small team and bring joy to customers through your culinary skills and enthusiasm! This role is perfect for passionate food lovers eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment. As a key contributor you will support the baking process and assist with food preparation to ensure our baked goods are beautifully presented and ready for sale. If you thrive in a friendly kitchen setting and love working with your hands, this is your chance to shine and develop valuable culinary expertise! Your starting pay will be 14/hr PLUS tips and there are plenty of opportunities for pay bumps Duties Assist in preparing ingredients and baking a variety of baked goods Help with food production tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling baked items according to recipes and quality standards. Package goods carefully to ensure freshness and presentation for retail display or catering orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering strictly to food safety guidelines. Support food handling procedures by following proper sanitation practices during all stages of food preparation. Contribute to the setup and breakdown of the bakery during shifts, ensuring all tools and ingredients are ready for use. Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors when stock needs replenishing. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about baked products and offering recommendations when needed. Requirements MUST have Saturday availability MUST have early morning availability (shifts typically start at 6am) MUST be able to lift 50+ pounds Basic familiarity with baking techniques Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality product presentation and safety standards are met. Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude toward teamwork. Commitment to maintaining food safety standards and adhering to health regulations at all times.
