Barista

Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our dynamic café team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional service and maintain a clean, organized workspace will contribute to the overall success of our café. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and manage cash flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment. Adhere to food safety and handling standards while preparing food items. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands while maintaining product quality. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products to enhance customer experience. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage with customers positively.
