Job Summary We're looking for an energetic and friendly Barista Cashier to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, taking orders, preparing beverages, and ensuring each guest leaves happy. Your enthusiasm will help us deliver quick, quality service while maintaining a clean and inviting café atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and beverages following established recipes and standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, ensuring proper food safety and food handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation zones and customer seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations. Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and serving. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality. Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, food industry practices, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent communication skills with an approachable attitude to connect with diverse customers.
