Responsibilities Lead by example in preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Supervise daily café operations, including opening, closing, and maintaining cleanliness standards aligned with food safety regulations. Train and mentor team members on proper food handling, beverage preparation, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service techniques. Manage cash handling procedures accurately using POS systems, including cashiering and retail math calculations. Oversee inventory levels, restock supplies, and coordinate food preparation tasks to ensure efficient service. Foster a positive team environment by motivating staff, managing schedules, and promoting excellent customer experiences. Uphold all food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations during food service and handling. Skills Proven experience as a Barista with strong coffee knowledge and customer service skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to cash handling, retail math, and food industry operations. Strong leadership qualities with experience in supervising or leading a team in a café or retail environment. Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures.
