Duties Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each cup meets quality standards. Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures. Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service while balancing multiple tasks seamlessly. Assist in food preparation and serving of baked goods or light snacks, ensuring freshness and presentation are inviting. Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and cash handling procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a Barista with a strong background in coffee preparation and food service. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling techniques, and basic math for transactions. Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm throughout shifts. Previous retail or café experience is preferred; a passion for coffee culture is a plus.
