Barista

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring their satisfaction with every visit. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, smoothie, and energy beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies; restock as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Engage with customers in a friendly manner to create a positive experience. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to help customers effectively. Experience in food service or retail environments is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for coffee and beverage preparation, with an eagerness to learn more about the craft.
