The barista will be responsible for preparing, serving, and collecting payment for beverages ordered by our valued customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages to our customers. Exhibit a friendly and efficient demeanor when dealing with guests. Account for cash flow and inventory during shift. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and coffee machines. Provide cheerful and helpful customer service, making sure each guest feels welcomed and appreciated.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the company handbook. Follow health and safety guidelines to guarantee the quality of our products. Check products in cold unit area and restock items to ensure an adequate supply throughout the shift. Perform light paperwork duties as assigned. Complete other assigned duties or tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent listening/communication skills Attention to detail and ability to keep a clean and organized workspace. Customer focus and self-motivated with time management and organizational skills
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
