Responsibilities Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests Oversee daily café and taproom operations, including food and beverage preparation, serving, and cash handling Manage Toast POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently Ensure compliance with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and health regulations Coordinate scheduling, training, and performance feedback for team members to foster a high-performing environment Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols within the café and taproom spaces Support sales initiatives by engaging customers, upselling products, and promoting specials or events Handle cash register operations with accuracy using retail math skills and basic math proficiency Qualifications Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee knowledge and customer service skills Prior experience in food service or café environments; serving experience is highly valued Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to manage a team effectively Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation standards, and proper food handling procedures Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members alike Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a busy environment Join us to be part of a lively community hub where your energy makes a difference!
