UNDERSTANDING THE GIG

SEASONAL & FLEXIBLEThis is a contractor position, offering the flexibility of gig work. Because we are an event-based business, our calendar is dynamic. We are looking for baristas to join our roster for our Peak Seasons, where shift volume is highest:

Spring Peak:

March-May (Spring Training & golf season!)

Fall Peak:

September-November (College Football & festival season!)

Holiday Peak:

Early December (The first two weeks are our busiest!)

Note:

Slower seasons (January, February, July, August) will naturally have fewer shifts available.

About Scheduling:

We use Homebase for scheduling. You have the flexibility to update your availability weekly, and we assign events that are the best fit for your skills and the client's needs. While this doesn't guarantee a set number of hours, it allows the gig to work around your life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLogistics & Setup:

Safely transport, set up, and tear down mobile espresso carts. You are an expert at turning a blank space into a visually stunning coffee bar.

Coffee Excellence:

Maintain the highest quality espresso service, including advanced latte art (tulip stacking is our baseline standard).

Ambassador Vibes:

Act as a brand ambassador. This includes maintaining personal grooming standards that are neat and professional while expressing your personal style when the event dress code permits.

Operational Intelligence:

Follow detailed checklists and reference guides to ensure every event no matter the location is executed flawlessly.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

2+ years of Specialty Coffee experience is required. Experience in high-volume, high-stress environments is a major plus.

Technical Skill:

Proficiency with espresso preparation and milk steaming. You must be able to dial in a shot independently.

Latte Art:

You can pour clean, consistent art even when it's busy. Pouring tulips is an essential requirement!

Physical Capability:

Must be able to regularly lift and move 75+ lbs (espresso machines and large, heavy coolers) and stand for 8+ hours.

Logistics:

Valid Driver s License and reliable transportation are non-negotiable. Comfort driving large vans or box trucks is preferred.

Certifications:

Food Handler's + Arizona Title 4 (liquor) certifications.
