Taproom Beertender Alameda Brewing Company Alameda, CA Job Details Part-time $17.46 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Employee discount Qualifications Interpersonal skills Customer service In-person customer service Bussing Full Job Description Shifts open: Closings on Wednesdays; On-Call availability on weekends Part-Time position as a bartender in our taproom. All taproom staff share the same responsibilities and duties to maintain a culture of working together to provide a great experience for our customers and community. Duties
- Pouring draft beer, assessing customer's needs/preferences, and offering recommendations
- Cashiering and using a POS system
- Restocking kegs, cans, glassware, merchandise, etc.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the taproom and patio by collecting glassware, doing dishes and cleaning tables. General cleaning of the taproom and restrooms.
- Weekly Taproom chores to help keep our environment clean and easy to work in. Requirements
- Friendly demeanor, passionate about customer service and craft beer
- Team player who communicates well with other staff and customers
- Self-motivated and punctual
- Available to work 5-8 hour long shifts, and provide weekend coverage if needed
ABC LEAD/RBS
Certification (can be completed after hiring)- Cicerone Beer Server Certification (preferred/not required)
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Compensation is $17.
