Barista

Job Summary Join our new modern coffee shop as a dedicated and energetic Barista! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for every guest through exceptional customer service and expertly crafted beverages. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling waffles, pastries or snacks when needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without sacrificing quality or service standards Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with a strong background in coffee preparation Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order totaling Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling, and serving techniques Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, and retail math is highly desirable Join us to be part of an energetic team committed to delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
