Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Cashier/Barista, where you will be the friendly face that greets customers and creates a welcoming atmosphere. In this dynamic role, you'll handle cash transactions with precision, prepare and serve high-quality coffee and food items, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service as they place orders for coffee, beverages, and food items. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for accurate cash handling and transactions. Prepare beverages with precision, adhering to quality standards and food safety guidelines. Handle cash register operations including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and serving counters. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures during all stages of service. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels to meet customer demand. Qualifications Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
