Overview Join our team as a Smoothie and Matcha Barista on wheels, where your energy and passion for creating delicious, healthful beverages will shine! In this role, you'll be the face of our smoothie bar crafting vibrant smoothies and matcha drinks that delight our customers. Your enthusiasm for food and beverage service, combined with your attention to detail and excellent customer care, will help create a welcoming environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and retail math while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, matcha drinks, acai bowls and other café beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing exceptional service to enhance their experience Operate POS systems confidently for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the smoothie and matcha bar area in accordance with food safety standards Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations for sales accuracy Assist in food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used safely Support food handling procedures during serving to uphold health regulations and quality standards Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in coffee or food service is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper sanitation procedures Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions, retail math calculations, and cash handling accurately Experience in the food industry or café environment is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Join us to craft delightful beverages that brighten our customers' days!
