The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system for order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Adhere to food safety and handling regulations during food preparation and service. Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency. Experience Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and interpersonal interactions. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy café setting. Positive, outgoing, and courteous is a must Current CA Food Handler's card required Fast food or retail experience is preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Have a flexible schedule.
