Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth transactions Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties confidently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and retail math Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and serving counters Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing concerns promptly Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks, adhering to food safety standards and quality expectations Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service environments with strong coffee knowledge and customer service skills Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions, retail math calculations, and inventory checks Strong communication skills to engage customers positively and work effectively within a team Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and serving protocols in the café or retail setting Experience with food preparation tasks such as food handling, serving, or café operations is preferred Join us in creating a lively atmosphere where great coffee meets outstanding service!
