Barista Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take food and drink orders. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, and specialty teas. Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and baked goods. Answer customer inquiries regarding menu options and ingredients. Promote and recommend menu items to enhance customer experience. Process customer payments accurately, including cash and credit transactions. Track and manage inventory for cafe supplies, including coffee beans, milk, and disposable items. Maintain and clean espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment; troubleshoot and schedule repairs as needed. Ensure cleanliness work environment and cafe seating area. Evaluate and suggest improvements to processes for better efficiency and service quality. Attract new customers and contribute to menu refinement and development.
