As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your commitment to excellent customer service and attention to detail will ensure that each guest has an enjoyable experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in all aspects of food service. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in restocking as needed. Requirements have to be not less than 20 years old Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; willingness to learn new technology is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods is highly valued.
