Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for boba & tea, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage preparation. As a vital member of our team, you will craft high-quality beverages, serve customers with a smile, and ensure a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the food service industry while providing exceptional experiences to our guests. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of tea beverages and specialty drinks using standardized recipes and equipment. Operate Toast POS system for order processing and cash handling. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy. Assist in food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Maintain a positive customer experience. Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management. Requirements Previous barista experience or background in beverage or food service is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Strong math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
