Barista Cashier

Hours Monday-Friday:

Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items following established recipes and standards. Operate POS systems process sales quickly and accurately. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with precision, maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and handling. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow and minimize wait times. Qualifications Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred; passion for coffee is a plus! Proven experience in cashiering or retail math to handle cash handling accurately. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for transactions. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light objects, and work flexible hours as needed.
