In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and preparation standards are met. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and utensils. Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with food preparation tasks, including the assembly of food items and adherence to food safety guidelines. Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and address any inquiries or concerns. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, assisting with restocking as needed. Uphold high standards of customer service while fostering a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Skills Experience in making espresso based drinks preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Strong cash handling skills with experience using a cash register. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer engagement and satisfaction. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for coffee culture and an eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
