GED Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Barista/Tea Server is responsible for crafting exceptional beverages and desserts while delivering warm, memorable customer experiences. This role blends coffee and tea expertise with hands-on dessert preparation in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, specialty teas, and handcrafted beverages Create and plate desserts according to recipes and presentation standards Educate customers on tea varieties, brewing methods, and flavor pairings Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and organization of workstations Manage ingredients, restocking, and basic prep tasks Provide friendly, efficient service and handle transactions accurately
Job Requirements:
Minimum of high school education At least one year of continuous experience as a barista or tea specialist is required Knowledge of basic dessert preparation techniques is preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Able to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Food safety certification a plus INDFOH
