Barista Summary/Objective As a Barista, you contribute to the success of providing a welcoming, exceptional experience to the rest of the team and our guests. You will help with delivering warm and friendly interactions with our guests. From greeting our guests, ringing up orders, preparing beverages/food, ensuring orders are delivered timely, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Work Environment This position works in a food/beverage setting. This role routinely uses restaurant equipment such as blenders, knifes, phones, tablets, POS registers, and standard cafe equipment such as freezers, walk-in refrigerators, 3 compartment sinks, ice machines, mop sinks. Qualifications Ability to quickly learn new procedures, processes, and product knowledge 1 years of experience in food/beverage environments making smoothies, and/or specialty beverages, or experience in retail and hospitality Must have (or obtain) a Food Handlers License prior to employment when required by local ordinance Barista, Nutrition, and culinary education experience a plus!
