Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality coffee and food items, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, retail, and cash handling within a dynamic café setting. Previous barista experience and coffee knowledge are preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation and serving of light food items as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times Restock supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operation during shifts Skills Experience with POS systems Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in order accuracy and cleanliness

Pay:

$16.90 per hour
