Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their experience Operate POS systems such as Toast POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and handling Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for sales and change Restock supplies regularly, ensuring the café remains inviting and well-organized Follow food safety protocols during food handling and preparation to ensure quality and compliance Qualifications Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred; a passion for coffee is a plus! Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in serving, food preparation, or retail environments is beneficial but not required; training will be provided Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels great experiences!
