Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care Operate clover POS system to process orders accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with accuracy using POS systems Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café environment, wash dishes, bus tables Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and serving snacks or light meals as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles with a strong background in coffee preparation Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cashiering Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced café or retail environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about delivering quality coffee experiences while ensuring smooth operational flow.
