Position Summary:

The Barista is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to all customers. This includes preparing and serving coffee, food, and ice cream, as well as operating the drive-thru. The Barista will learn and adhere to Coffee Nutzz procedures, focusing on upselling products and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere. Assist customers with menu selections and make recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.

Beverage Preparation:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks. Maintain consistency and quality in beverage preparation, following Coffee Nutzz recipes and standards.

Food Preparation:

Prepare and serve food items, such as sandwiches, pastries, and other menu offerings. Ensure all food items are made to order and meet Coffee Nutzz quality standards.

Ice Cream Service:

Serve ice cream, including scooping, mixing, and presenting sundaes, shakes, and other ice cream treats. Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in the ice cream serving area.

Drive-Thru Operation:

Operate the drive-thru with efficiency and accuracy. Ensure quick and accurate order taking, payment processing, and order delivery. Maintain drive-thru speed of service and strive to meet or exceed company benchmarks.

Product Upselling:

Learn and implement upselling techniques to promote additional sales. Educate customers on new products, promotions, and special offers. Suggest add-ons and complementary items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.

Operational Procedures:

Follow all Coffee Nutzz operational procedures, including opening and closing duties, cash handling, and inventory management. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure food and beverage safety.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operation and delivery of services. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new products, procedures, and customer service techniques.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:
