Barista Position Summary:

We are seeking energetic, hospitality-driven team members to join our fast-paced, upscale fast-casual restaurant. This multi-functional role combines cashier, food running, and bussing responsibilities to ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, able to multitask efficiently, and thrives in a high-volume environment. Destiny Coast restaurant is open daily from 7:30am-3pm for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The ideal candidate will be available for 4-5 shifts per week. Key ResponsibilitiesCashier Duties Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service. Accurately process orders through the Toast POS system. Handle credit card and digital payment transactions. Answer menu questions and make recommendations. Ensure order accuracy and communicate special requests to the kitchen. Maintain a clean and organized station. Restock supplies as needed Food Runner Duties Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests. Verify order completeness and presentation before serving. Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Provide guests with necessary condiments and utensils. Monitor dining areas to ensure guest satisfaction. Busser Duties Clear and sanitize tables quickly and efficiently. Reset tables according to restaurant standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, patio, and service areas. Replenish supplies including napkins, utensils, condiments, and beverages. Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties. Support the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a sense of urgency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.
