Responsibilities Lead and motivate the café team during your shift, fostering a positive and energetic work environment Oversee daily operations including cash handling, POS transactions (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and food service procedures Ensure all food safety standards are maintained through proper food handling and preparation practices Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service flow during busy periods Support sales initiatives by promoting menu items and upselling when appropriate Conduct regular cleanliness checks, monitor inventory levels, and assist with restocking supplies Qualifications Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee knowledge and customer service skills Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a café or retail environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting Strong math skills for cash handling, retail math, and basic calculations related to sales and inventory Knowledge of food safety regulations, food preparation, serving techniques, and food handling procedures Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team environment Join us as a Barista Shift Leader where your energy fuels our success!
