Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care. Handle cash transactions, process payments efficiently, and manage cash handling responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the café area, including food preparation and handling. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards. Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing the café for optimal flow. Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about menu items, making recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Qualifications Previous barista or coffee experience is highly preferred; familiarity with food handling and preparation is a plus. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
