Scoop Shop Associate and Catering (PT/FT)

Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Part-Time or Full-Time Scoop Shop Associate and Catering Specialist! In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face serving delicious ice cream treats and providing exceptional customer service. Whether working behind the counter or assisting with catering orders, you'll play a vital part in creating memorable experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream flavors, toppings, and specialty items with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and upselling products to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the scoop shop area, including food handling, bussing tables, and kitchen sanitation. Assist with catering orders by preparing, packaging, and coordinating delivery or pickup arrangements. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operation and balancing at shift end. Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures in a quick service environment. Qualifications Prior experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to upsell products confidently. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting.
