As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional service to our customers. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, handling transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, assisting with restocking as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Stay updated on menu items, promotions, and new products to enhance customer experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts are essential. Strong time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is beneficial for maintaining health standards in the workplace. Excellent communication skills with a focus on sales techniques to enhance customer engagement.
