Barista

Job description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Barista to join our teams at Enchanted Coffee Santa Ana. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for not only upholding Enchanted Coffee's cup quality, but also fostering and engaging in a vibrant and welcoming coffee community.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while shaping an exceptional customer experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and BOH
• Upsell products and offer suggestions to enhance the customer experience
• Handle cash transaction and operate the POS system
• Assist in stocking and replenishing inventory as needed
• Work closely with team members to maintain a collaborative and efficient work environment, contributing to the success of the team.

Qualifications:

• At least one (1) year previous experience as a Barista or in a similar restaurant/fast-food/fast paced customer service/hospitality environment role strongly preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, sales, food preparation, time management, retail math, basic math, and customer service
• CA Food handler's card or the ability to obtain prior to first day of work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills, an ethical mindset, and a friendly demeanor
• Willingness to learn about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take feedback/constructive criticism for personal and professional growth
• Strong sense of responsibility and the initiative to accomplish tasks independently
• Flexible and open availability, including minimum of three (3) weekends a month available to work Our teammates benefit from:
